He is survived by: his nephew Jared; his wife Betty; his children, John Thomas Lewis, III (Glenda) of Columbus, MS and Tammy Renee Wallace (Jeff) of Beaufort, SC.; his grandson Jared Lewis (Valerie); his great grandchild Juliana Lewis; his siblings, Joanne Bettini, Betty Lou Nato and Monroe Lewis (Bobbie); and also, Glenda, Arthur, Margaret Thompson of Greensboro, NC, Gail and Boyd Wheeler of Greensboro, NC.. He is also survived by his wife's sister.
