He is survived by: his wife Jeannie Bufkin of Columbus, MS; his children, Ron Bufkin of Columbus, MS, Ritchie Bufkin of Sarasota, FL and Ramsey Bufkin Howard of Columbus, MS; and his stepchildren, Phillip Thompson of Fredericksburg, VA and Renee Glendinning of Ocean Ridge, FL. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
