He was predeceased by: his parents, John E. Lofton and Katherine White Lofton. He is survived by: his wife Betty Clardy; his children, Johnny Ray Lofton, Jr. of Columbus, MS and Teresa Hosford of Tampa, FL; his grandchildren, Ashley Hosford, Jason Hosford, Jr. and Dawson Lofton; his siblings, Nancy Foreman, Evelyn Miley (Ronnie), Peggy Garrison, Cecil Lofton (Judy) and Rodney Lofton (Sandy); and his nephews, Jason Hosford, Jr., Dawson Lofton, Cole Ellis, Randy Woodson and David Woodson.
