Ashmore of Columbus, Mississippi, born in Hamilton, Mississippi, who passed away on April 13, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Alice Beatrice Oliver; and her siblings, Onie Dell Rea and Berniece Garner. She is survived by: her husband Virgil Ashmore of Columbus, MS; her children, Mitzi Hatcher (Steve) of Caledonia, MS and Duane Ashmore (Carol) of Daphne, AL; her brothers, Jimmy Rea of Hamilton, MS and Danny Rea of Hamilton, MS; her grandsons, Chad Baird, Bradley Baird, Neil Jones and Dustin Ashmore; and her great grandchildren, Seth Baird, Zacharie Jones, Reese Baird, Isaac Ashmore and Andrew Ashmore.
