We are sad to announce that, on March 31, 2026, at the age of 96, Madge Fields of Columbus, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Martin Shepherd and Ethel Marie Nester Shepherd; her husband Brooks "Jack" Fields; and her siblings, Lois McMullen, Opal McBrayer, Sallie Henderson, Carolyn Rester, Cherry Dailey Stribling, Bo Shepherd, Brooks Shepherd and John Shepherd.

She is survived by: her daughters, Beverly Lane (Greg) of Columbus, MS and Karen Wilson (Robert) of Katy, TX.; her grandchildren, James Fancher (Wendi), Brian Lane (Angela), Kelly Denton (Ashley) and Aaron Lane (Amanda); her great grandchildren, Alexis, Jordan, Brittany, Taylor, Isabella, Gavin, Judah, Braysen, Micah, Avyn and Jaxon; and her siblings, Gloria Bynum, Faye Coleman and Kline Shepherd.
