He was predeceased by: his wife Karen Weathers; and his grandparents, Bessie Howard, James Howard (Shorty), Murray Weathers and Nellie Montgomery Weathers.
He is survived by: his parents, Frances Weathers (Howard) and Stanley Weathers; his children, Brittani Brown (Robbie), Marc Stanley Weathers (Tristan) and Taylor Weathers; his grandchildren, Ellington, Rollins Brown, Alfee Weathers and Auggie Weathers; the mother of his children Dana Weathers; his sister Kim Gates (Bill); and his aunts, Barbara Davis, Jimmie Nell Davis and Faye Avery (Danny).
