She was predeceased by: her parents, James Robert and Louise Garrett; and her brothers, James Lamar and Donny Garrett (Wayne D. Joyner). She is survived by: her children, Jerry (Karen Joyner), Deborah (Walt Dodson) and Suzanne Lasyone. She is also survived by four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
