She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Lee and Helen Louise Hodges Atkins; and her husband Michael Wood. She is survived by: her siblings, Dorothy Threadgill of Maben, MS and Samuel Atkins of Meridian, MS. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
