He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Oteri Batson and Hoyett Wheat Batson; and his wife Kathy Batson. He is survived by: his daughters, Megan Batson Sipes (Jim) of Charleston, SC and Allyson Batson Amos (Marc) of Columbus, MS; his granddaughters, Sloan Amos, Mallory Amos Trafton (Mark) and Abby Amos; and his nieces and nephews, Mischa Marlowe, Melissa Sullivan, Amanda Arenderand, Rusty Goss and Lee Downing.
