With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Milton Hanson of Columbus, Mississippi, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Frank and Myra Lee Hanson; and his siblings, Dorothy Fowler, Betty Coleman, James Hanson, William Hanson, Jimmy Hanson and Carl Hanson.
He is survived by: his children, Jill Wigfield (Blake), Jason Hanson (Leigh Ann) and Joey Hanson (Tracie); his granddaughter Allee Kate Weathers; and his brother Billy Wade Hanson (Ginger). He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lowndes Funeral Home (1131 Lehmberg Rd, Columbus, MS 39702). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church (1383 Pleasant Hill Rd, Columbus, MS 39702).
