She was predeceased by: her parents, Oakley Atkins and Juanita Atkins; her husband Ed Trapp; her daughters, Judi Bowler and Dianne Dallas; and her siblings, Kellum Atkins, Harold Atkins and Anne Harris.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Ashley Matthews (Drew) of Columbus and Sarah Edwards (Andy) of Smithfield, VA; her siblings, Barbara Murrah (Scott) of Columbus and Larry Atkins (Cammie) of Hoover, AL; and her great grandchildren, Aven Matthews, Jack Matthews of Columbus, Ashlynn Edwards and Hallie Edwards of Smithfield, VA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the First Methodist Church (602 Main St, Columbus, MS 39701). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location.
