It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Nell Simpson of Columbus, Mississippi, who passed away on June 8, 2023, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Clifton Richardson and Cora Mae Trammel Hemby; her stepfather Vernon Hemby, Sr.; and her stepsisters, Bonnie Yateman, Jo Kidd and Suzanne Simpson.

She is survived by: her husband David Simpson; her son Christopher D. Simpson; her brothers, Tommy Richardson, Dale Richardson, Martin Richardson and Wallace Richardson; and her stepbrothers, Dwayne Hemby and Vernon Hemby, Jr.. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
