It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rebecca Louise Shepherd of Columbus, Mississippi, born in Vaiden, Mississippi, who passed away on December 19, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Jesse Compton. She is survived by: her husband Fred Shepherd of Columbus, MS; her children, Neil Shepherd of Columbus, MS, Steve Shepherd (Morgan) of Starkville, MS and Karen Pintican (Emanuel) of Columbus, MS; her brother Lamar Compton (Linda) of Kosciusko, MS; and her grandchildren, Cody Shepherd, Gentry Penley and Judson Shepherd.
