He was predeceased by: his father Albert. He is survived by: his friend Richard; his wife Frances Andrews Brown; his children, Betsy Gee of Columbus, MS, Andrew Brown (Lindsey) of Brentwood, TN and Katie Bishop; his brothers, Gary Brown (Becky) of Caledonia, MS and Tom Brown; and his grandchildren, Max, Kate Scott Gee, Blake, Henry Brown, Gardner and Mary.
