He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Brantley and Doris Evelyn Mullins; his wife Helen Joyce Brantley; and his siblings, Naomi Sue Lanning, Mary Schaefer and Lee Brantley.
He is survived by: his children, Richard Brantley (Gwen), Monica Brantley Nabors (Jimmy), Tony and Jennifer Hannah; his grandchildren, Lysa Sandlin (Dakota), Brittney Corbell (Anthony), Brandi Hardin (Jayce), Brandon Nabors (Dakota), Bailey Shepperd (Mike Haririe) and Christopher Lannon (Taylor); his great grandchildren, AnRylie Sandlin, Landry Crenshaw, Fischer Sandlin, Lola Rowdy Sandlin, Parker Kate Crenshaw, Brantley Hardin, Chandler Hardin, Brighton Corbell, Amaia Haririe, Miller Lannon and Remi Lannon; his siblings, Dewey Brantley, Jr. and Susie Plummer; and his brother-in-law Curtis Lanning.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Lowndes Funeral Home (1131 Lehmberg Rd, Columbus, MS 39702). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
