He was predeceased by: his father George Hurt; and his brother Wendell Hurt. He is survived by: his wife Debra Pearson Hurt; his sister Ginger Hurt; his stepbrother Johnny Boone; his stepchildren, Candice Fann and Marcus Lavender; and his grandchildren, Cole, Logan, Kaleb and Zoey.
