She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathaniel Baker and Willie Lee Baker; her husband Johnny Gene Kidd; her children, Baby Kidd, Elbert Lee Kidd, Nicole Kidd and Ruby Saddler; and her siblings, Nathaniel Baker, Jr., George Baker, John Baker, Willie Baker, John Willis Baker, Eddie Dean Baker, Betty Kidd, Dorothy Williams and Mary Lee Rush.
She is survived by: her children, John Lee Kidd, Tommy Kidd (Barbara), LaCedric Brown (Jasmine), Marquez Baker, Shelia (late Isacc Lacy Jr.), Becky Kidd, Patricia Cobb (Chris), Debbie Kidd, Annie Shelly and Willene Jones; and her siblings, Clara Bowser, Elizabeth Baker, Mary D. Marchbank and Tommy James Gunter (Geraldine). She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Carter's Funeral Home (200 Millers Chapel Church Rd, Macon, MS 39341). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Bethlehem M. B. Church.
