He is survived by: his mother Mary Blankenship Thompson of Columbus, MS; his daughter Courtney Renee Thompson of Columbus, MS; and his siblings, Kenny Thompson of Columbus, MS, Glenn Thompson (Melanie) of Lebanon, TN, Dr. Teresa Thompson of Columbus, MS and Mary Helen Hawkins (Eddie) of Columbus, MS.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory (716 2nd Ave N, Columbus, MS 39701). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Curtis Chapel Cemetery.
