He was predeceased by: his father Walter Casey Blackburn; his wife Patsy Blackburn; and his grandparents, Mosey Miles Perkins, Virginia Shelton Perkins, Charles Eugene Blackburn and Mary Holt Blackburn.
He is survived by: his mother Catherine Perkins Blackburn; his sister Mellynne Blackburn Dickason (Joe Dickason); his nieces, Waverly Dickason and Kalee Dickason; and his stepchildren, Kendra DeVaughn and Anthony DeVaughn. He is also survived by his aunts and several cousins.
