He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Joseph Chaltry, Jr. and Joyce Marie Dettman. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie S. Groh; his children, Stephanie Long (Cory) of Gulfport, MS and Derek Chaltry (Amanda) of Steens, MS; his siblings, Mike Chaltry (Teresa) of Kathleen, GA, Mary Beth Williams (Richard) of Meridian, MS and Colleen Reyes (Art) of Steens, MS.; his grandchildren, Amy, Charlotte, Samantha, Maggie and Tucker; and his pet Thor.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Woodland Baptist Church (3033 Ridge Rd, Columbus, MS 39705).
