He is survived by: his wife Lynda; his children, Chad Ervin (Susan) of Aberdeen, Whitney Harrington (Clint) of Amory, Christen Moore (Joel) of Columbus, Grant Thomas (Luis) of Madrid, Spain and Evan Thomas (Sydney) of Birmingham, Alabama; his grandchildren, Morgan Mitchell, Walker Mitchell of Kings Point, Lula and Lincoln Ellis Moore of Columbus; and his siblings, Salli Long (Wilson) of Tupelo and Rick Ervin (Mary) of Nicaragua. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
