He was predeceased by: his parents, Etoile Stubbe and Walter Stubbe Sr.; his sisters, Gwen and Jackie; and his wife Sandra Peebles Stubbe.
He is survived by: his daughter Tracie S. Henson; his grandchildren, Kelsey K. Newman and Nicholas L. Newman; and also Pat Shields.
