He is survived by: his wife Brenda Betts; his daughters, Bettsy Ellis and Jacque Furnari (Matt); his grandchildren, Leon Ellis IV, Haley Lee (Ricky), Mark Furnari and Jack Furnari; his brother-in-law Kenneth Betts (Nancy) of Hamilton, MS; his uncle Raymond Boyd (Hamilton); his stepsiblings, Rachel Allsup (Donald), George Curtis (Brenda) of Knoxville, TN and David Curtis (Lynn) of Ethelsville, AL; and his pets, Pepper and Roxy.
