She was predeceased by: her parents, James Alfred Nichols and Clara Handy Nichols; her husband James Hoopes; her sons, Jon Michael Hoyt and William Edward Hoyt; her grandmother Arkie Hicks; and her brothers, Jimmy Nichols and Roger Nichols.
She is survived by: her daughters, Theresa Pendley (Dale), Barbara Hoopes (Jeff) and Ellen Bowles (Shannon); her grandchildren, Richard Ammerman (Erin), Valerie Hoopes, Angela Collins, Drew Hoyt and Russell Pendley; her great grandchildren, Austin James Collins and Michael Collins; and her sister Judy Morris.
