He is survived by: his wife Jimmie Gail Tyson (Strachan); his son Stacy Tyson (Jill); his granddaughters, Hannah and Sara; his brother Jerry Tyson (Janey); and his siblings-in-law, Mike Strachan, Norris, Linda Davis, Jane Mills and Greta Willis.
