He was predeceased by: his parents, Q. T. Jackson and Opal Hopper Jackson; his brother-in-law Gene Dowdy; and his pet Thunder. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Jackson; his sisters, Nylene Dowdy and Charlene Keith; his nieces, Angie Karstens (Brett) and Kylie Jones (Donnie); his nephew Steven Dowdy (Tina); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Noah Watson (Rachel), Dalton Karstens, Grace Karstens and Ty Dowdy; and his cousin Deryl Cossitt (Mark English).
In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations be made to Walnut Methodist Church or Alcorn County Animal Shelter.
