He was predeceased by : his parents, Chares Stevens and Mary Miller Barkley; and his siblings, Dan Arthur, Donald Stevens and Sue Davis.

He is survived by : his children, Andy Stevens (Natalie) and Amber Phillips (Hunter); his grandchildren, Braxton Stevens, Bowen Stevens and Jersey Phillips; his sister Lisa Rees (Brent); and his close friend Alice Nix.
