With sadness, we share the passing of Diane Sims in Corinth, Mississippi. Diane, born on March 30, 1954 in Gary, Indiana, passed away on October 16, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Chamblee and Vela Austin Chamblee; her husband Jesse Sims; her son Charles Donavin Moore; her sisters, Brenda Vandiver and Angela Rorie; her half-siblings, Marvin Chamblee, Jr. and Gloria Hood; and the father of her children Charles Moore.
She is survived by: her daughter Catrina Moore Smith (Denny); her grandchildren, Trevor Moore Smith and Tayton Moore Smith (Leighia); her great grandchild Jack Moore Smith; her siblings, Michael Chamblee, Rhonda B. Baswell and Sondra Dowd; and her half-sister Brenda Spencer.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Magnolia Funeral Home - East (2024 US-72, Corinth, MS 38834). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
