He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Guy Modlin and Rosa Hargis Modlin; his wife Bertha O'Leary Modlin; his children, Jeff Modlin (Janie), Dennis Modlin, Neal Modlin (Rhonda), David Modlin (Jamie), Terry Modlin (Kelley), Brian Modlin, Nathan Modlin, Donna Oliver, Kelly Bohne, Tracy Stanfield and Katie Modlin; his siblings, Franklin Holmes and Leverne Modlin; his nieces, Deborah Judd and Diana Miller; and also Rosa Hargis Modlin. He was also cherished by 18 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren.
