With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dorothy Jean Plaxico-Wood of Corinth, Mississippi, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 14, 2025 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jimmy Lee and Ruby Lee Carter Plaxico; her husband Garvin "Bud" Wood; her children, Randy (Judy), Tim (Ramona), Alan Wood (Lisa), Sandy Boren (Russell), Donna Davis and Rodney Wood; her son-in-law Danny Davis; and her great grandchild Ashley Sawyer.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Magnolia Funeral Home - East (2024 US-72, Corinth, MS 38834). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, November 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
