He was predeceased by: his father Ernest; his wife Sarah; and his sister Ernestine Gravatt. He is survived by: his children, James Watts (Amy) and Denise Dean (Jeff); his grandchildren, Jeff Dean, Dana Dean, Daniel Dean (Maggie), Justin Watts and Jake Watts; his great grandchildren, Margaret "Mae" Dean and William Dean; his sister MaryAnn Millican; and his friend Pat Emmons.
