She was predeceased by: her husband Tommy Sweat Sr.; and her cousin Frank Allen Riley of Tupelo, Mississippi.. She is survived by: her children, Thomas L. Sweat of Corinth, Anne Thompson of Johnson City and Richard Riley of Nashville, Tennessee; and her grandchildren, Wiles Sweat, Laney Hudson, Thomas R. Sweat, Bett Thompson, May McInnis, Grace Thompson, Watson Sweat, Riley Sweat Jr. and Cayce Sweat. She is also survived by six great grandchildren; and a host of extended family.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to The Living Healthy Free Medical Clinic in Corinth, Mississippi which her and her husband founded. Donations may be made in their name.
