With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gale Lewey (Corinth, Mississippi), who passed away on April 21, 2023 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Buford Fortenberry and Clara Fortenberry; her brothers, William Floyd and Wilton Fortenberry; and her friend Horace Yearber.
She is survived by: her brother Dale Fortenberry (Shirley); her sister-in-law Janice Wallace Fortenberry; her nieces, Nancy Essary (Harold), Karen Fortenberry Weeks (Joe) and Sandra Fortenberry Deas (Mack); and her nephew Sammy Fortenberry (Kay). She is also survived by three great nieces; three great nephews; three great great nieces; and five great great nephews.
