He was predeceased by : his parents, Vergil Wood and Mary Belle Wood; his wife Joyce Wood; and his granddaughter Hannah Jenkins. He is survived by : his children, Craig Wood, Tracy Wood, Lisa Jenkins (Larry), Sherry Rogers and Stacy Hunt; his grandchildren, Tiffany Mills, Cody Jenkins (Ashley), Paige McCann and Tyler Rogers (Harleigh); his great grandchildren, Noah Bain, Greyson Mills, Fisher McCann, Maverick Mills, James Henry Jenkins, Autumn Jenkins and Miller Haynes; and his brother Ronald Wood (Lori). He is also survived by other relatives and many friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 9th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Magnolia Funeral Home - East (2024 US-72, Corinth, MS 38834). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
