He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas Kirwan and Grace Helen; and his siblings, Jack, Joan, Jean, Jerry and Tim.
He is survived by: his children, Freddy, Kathleen, Gary, Shawn (Kimberly) and Rose; his grandchildren, Grace, Kaitlyn, Patrick and Elsie; his son-in-law Eric Libby; his grandsons, Ayden and Shawn; and his former spouse Benda Robertson.
