With sadness, we share the passing of Joyce Barnes (Corinth, Mississippi). Joyce, born on September 2, 1941, passed away on May 31, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joyce Barnes to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elton Calvery and Myrtle Calvery; her husband Everett "Leon" Barnes, Sr.; her daughter Judy Winfield McCoy; her grandson Dustin Brown; and her siblings, Cleaton Clavery, Lennon Calvery and Geraldine Calvery.

She is survived by: her children, Everette "Rusty" Barnes, Jr., Bobby W. Barnes and Melissa Ann Brown; her grandchildren, Merrie Claire Barnes Snyder (Matt), Annelise Barnes, Daniel Galyean (Laura), Jordan Brown, Vannah Brown and Logan Barnes; and her great grandchildren, Sarah Noel Snyder and Reese Ann Snyder. She is also survived by several other great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins that she loved, and her church family.
