She was predeceased by: her parents, James Walter Cox and Letha Voyles Cox; and her sister Janet Lynn Cox. She is survived by: her husband Alva Barnett; her children, Dusty Barnett (Brittany), Marsha Moss (Gregory) and Shelia Billingsley (Mickey); her grandchildren, Kenslee Barnett, Kaylee Barnett, LeAnna Billingsley and Laney Billingsley; and her siblings, Sanford Cox and Janie Howell (Larry).
