She was predeceased by: her parents, Gene Simon and Lavata Simon. She is survived by: her husband Gene Silvestri; her children, Kellye Stringfield (Chris), Andy Silvestri (Susan) and Laura Giaccaglini (Michael); and her siblings, Steve Simon (Diane) and Janice Watts. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Oakland Baptist Church. A celebration of life was held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
