He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Derrick and Orina Barnes Derrick; his close friend Carolyn Hall; and his siblings, Billy Derrick, Danny Derick, Alice Easley, Sue McAnally and Joann Derrick.
He is survived by: his son Phillip Derrick (Lisa); his granddaughter Taylor Hanley (Clark); his great grandchild Carter Hanley; and his siblings, Jerry Derrick and Peggy Gray. He is also survived by other relatives and a host of friends.
