He was predeceased by: his parents, R. C. King and Betty Cather King; and his sisters, Brenda Moses and Carolyn Meeks. He is survived by: his children, Michael King, Jr. (Shina) and Angel Gillmore (Stuart); his siblings, Jeff King (Carla), Larry King (Betty) and Darlene Watkins; and his grandchildren, Nate, Nathaniel, Kaden, Leon Elijah, Selena and Adelynn Gillmore.
