She was predeceased by: her parents, Ottie Mathis and Lucille Green Mathis; her brothers, Arthur Mathis (Louise) and Johnny Mathis; and her brother-in-law Joe Morphis.
She is survived by: her husband Bill Nelson; her daughters, Lisa Weeden, Barbara Tidwell (Steve), Sherry Tyson (Tim) and Carolyn James; her grandchildren, Blake Weeden (Taylor) and Gracie Weeden; her great grandchild Wyatt Rivers Weeden; her sister Onetter Morphis; and her sister-in-law Olivia Mathis.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Bread of Life Food Pantry at Tate Baptist Church or St. Jude Childrens Hosptial.
