He is survived by: his son Greg Meeks; his grandson Phillip Meeks; his siblings, Gloria Long, Larry Meeks (Juanita), Freddy Barnes (Gina) and Frankie Barnes; his close friend CeCe Merrit; and his cousin Jackie Dildy (Anita).
