He was predeceased by: his parents, W. C. Jackson and Patty Jackson; his brother Dr. Jim Jackson; and his grandson Jackson Marlar. He is survived by: his wife Linda Gene Christian; his daughters, Candace Marlar (Josh), Lindsey Jackson (Robert Cooper) and Morgan Williams (Kevin); his grandchildren, Hilton Marlar, Eleanor Williams and John Francis Williams; and his pet Elsa.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the First Methodist Church of Corinth.
