He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby Overby and Benjamin Evans; and his children, Steve Evans and Renee Hicks of Karen Forbes, D. D. He is survived by: his children, Taylor and Rhonda Thomas; his brother Bennie Evans; and his half-sisters, Francis Fair and Joan Vinet.
The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made on Archie's behalf to either the Children's of Mississippi Hospital or Trace Ridge Baptist Church.
