She is survived by: her children, Ruth Thornton and David Bufkin; her grandchildren, Rebecca Bowman (Will), Kristi Best (Chris), Misti Thornton, Aidan Bufkin, Andy Bufkin and Alex Bufkin; and her great grandchild Corbin Bowman.
Visitation was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stringer Family Funeral Home - Crystal Springs (26141 MS-27, Crystal Springs, MS 39059). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at the Old Crystal Springs Cemetery (2013 Utica Rd, Crystal Springs, MS 39059).
