Though Ima may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Abner and Mary Ellen Moffett Powell; and her siblings, Carl Leroy Powell and Minnie Ella Powell Terrell. She is survived by: her husband James Harrel Reese; her daughters, Donna Short and Rene Mulligan (Dennis); and her grandchildren, Josh Weems Jessica Weems (Wendi) and Reese Berry (Hailey). She is also survived by eleven great grandchildren.
