She was predeceased by: her parents, William Robert McElveen and Edith Marie Bullock White; her brothers, W. R. McElveen, Gene McElveen and Paul McElveen; and her great grandchild Ainsley Kathryn Hayes.
She is survived by: her husband Hubert D. Stuart Jr.; her siblings, Linda Dear of Dyersburg, Ann Mullins of Byram, MS and Douglas McElveen of Hazlehurst, MS.; her children, Kathryn Elaine Stuart Vinson (Jerry L. Vinson) of Fairview, TN., Nicky Doyle Stuart (Joyce Stuart) of Crystal Springs, MS. and Amanda Diane Fiser (Tony Fiser); her great grandchildren, Ava Kate Fiser, Aiden James Fiser and Kathryn Lauren Hayes (Jeff Hayes); her son Jonathan Ray Stuart (Danya); and her great grandchildren, Judge Moore, Brady, Ruby Berry, Candace Greer and Camryn Greer.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Stringer Family Funeral Home - Hazlehurst Po (28023 MS-28, Hazlehurst, MS 39083). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
