Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Mary Byrd (Crystal Springs, Mississippi), who passed away at the age of 80, on April 19, 2024. She was predeceased by : her parents, John Mecklin Parkman and Illma Wicker Parkman. She is survived by : her husband Tony (Tony) of Mt. Olive, MS.; her sons, Mike (Lupe) and Jon (Virginia); her grandchildren, Jordan (Mary Jo), Morgan (Tim), Logan, Danitza Yarama, Hannah and Jon Hanley (Diana); her nieces, Lisa Parkman Ethridge and Lori Parkman Nail; her cousin Joanne Bailey; and her caregiver Alicia Smith. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Harmony Baptist Church (6057 Harmony Rd, Crystal Springs, MS 39059). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
