He was predeceased by: his parents, James Key, Sr. and Lena Mae; his siblings, Gwendolyn Carmichael, Kathryn Milsaps and Dewitt Key; and his siblings' children, Jeff Poole, Ray Collins and Teresa Ivy.
He is survived by: his wife Janelle Key; his children, Alan Key and Polly Talley (Brad); his grandchildren, Brandon Key, Blake Key and Hailey Talley; and his sibling's children, Tim Sollie, Scott Sollie, Lester Poole, David Key, Bob Collins and Tammy Lynn Harris.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Liberty Baptist Church - DeKalb (6344 MS-493, De Kalb, MS 39328). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at the Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery (6344 MS-493, De Kalb, MS 39328).
