It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kayla Melynn Smith of Decatur, Mississippi, born in Meridian, Mississippi, who passed away on April 3, 2023, at the age of 31, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by : her mother Missy Crenshaw; her friend Chris Jones; her brother Dylan Colby McElhenney (Taylor); her grandparents, Ed Foote and Vera Thornsberry; her nephew Riley McElhenney; her niece Braylee McElhenney; her aunt Sharon Harris (Mike); her uncles, Shannon Doss (Cathy) and Wayne Doss; and her cousins, Alan Jones, Stephanie Doss (Chris Boutwell) and Kasie McCann (Matthew). She is also survived by numerous other cousins, family members, and friends.
